Terms and Conditions for Obtaining Leads from MyRenoQuotes.co.nz

By clicking the SUBMIT button on that page or signing the "My Reno Quotes – Terms of Service for Direct Leads" agreement, you agree to the following terms and conditions:


1. Introduction

These Website Standard Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy govern your use of our website, My Reno Quotes, accessible at www.myrenoqoutes.co.nz.

These terms apply to both consumers who use this site and Builders/Tradespeople who pay for information obtained from consumers.
Minors or people below 18 years old are not allowed to use this Website.


2. Services (to the Consumer)

This site introduces consumers to professional builders and renovation experts.

We pass consumer details to qualified tradespeople to provide quotes based on the consumer’s requirements.

Any advice, pricing, installation, or other information is provided directly by the assigned tradesperson, not by My Reno Quotes.

Consumers may receive up to two quotes, but availability may vary by location.


3. Services (to the Builder/Tradesperson)

Our service provides qualified introductions for renovation and building projects.

We guarantee:

The contact details (phone number and address) are correct.

Leads are sent to no more than two providers in the same region.

We do not guarantee:

The intent of a prospect (i.e., whether they will proceed with work).

Invalid leads are classified according to the criteria in Section 7 – Disputed Leads, Credits and Billing.

New clarifications added:

Leads are billed automatically ~72 hours after delivery. Delivery is defined as the email being sent to you, after which the 72-hour billing and dispute period begins.

Leads cannot be disputed for missed calls, no responses, or lost jobs; these are considered normal business risks.

Leads may generate referrals, meaning one lead could result in multiple projects.

It is your responsibility to nurture leads through your own campaigns to win ongoing work.


4. Intellectual Property Rights

My Reno Quotes and/or its licensors own all intellectual property rights and materials on this Website, except content you own.

You are granted a limited license to view website materials only.

Builders/Tradespeople may not replicate, copy, or use our methods, quiz, or SMS verification systems.


5. Payment of Leads

All unpaid leads will be automatically charged to your nominated credit card.

Leads are charged at $100 + GST per lead (subject to change).

Leads are billed approximately 72 hours after being sent to you.

You have 72 hours to validate a lead using the portal and training instructions provided.

In cases of insufficient funds, we will continue to supply leads and debit your card once funds are available.

By clicking SUBMIT, you authorize us to debit your credit card for all leads provided.

Additional clarification:

The 72-hour billing period starts when the lead email is sent, not when you check your portal.


6. Restrictions

You are specifically restricted from:
A) Publishing, copying, or replicating the lead concept, quiz, SMS process, or website material in any other media.
B) Selling, sublicensing, or commercializing any website material, including on-selling consumer information to third parties, sub-agents, or contractors.
C) Publicly performing and/or showing website material.
D) Using the Website in ways that may damage it.
E) Using the Website in ways that impact user access.
F) Using the Website contrary to applicable laws or in ways that cause harm to the Website or others.
G) Replicating the site’s flow or methodology for generating your own leads for 24 months.
H) Engaging in data mining, harvesting, or extracting activity.
I) Using the Website for advertising or marketing.
J) Passing leads to a third party for sale or commission, even if you purchased or disputed the lead. All leads are exclusive to you.


7. Disputed Leads, Credits, and Billing

We acknowledge that some leads may not meet quality standards.

We do not guarantee the intent of a prospect. Lead conversion depends on your sales process, skillset, and follow-up.

No credits are provided for:

Non-contact

No answer

Unreturned calls, emails, or SMS

Lead disputes:

All leads must be disputed within 72 hours of delivery via your CRM.

Once disputed, we review validity: valid leads continue billing, invalid leads stop billing.

Invalid Lead Criteria:

Wrong phone number, wrong email, or disconnected number

Not the property owner, or incorrect property address

Location outside 100 km of your nominated region

Prior contact with the lead within 72 hours of delivery

Written quote or site visit provided within 21 days before receiving the lead

Other cases reviewed manually

Important: Once a lead is marked invalid, we reserve the right to reassign or resell the lead to another provider.


8. Collections and Overdue Payments

Unpaid leads over 7 days overdue may be sent for collection.

Collections handled via eccreditcontrol.com, fees 20–30% of total debt added to your balance.

Repeated failed payments may incur a $5 per lead fee at our discretion.


9. Refunds and Credits

Credits are not refunded outside the 72-hour dispute period.

In exceptional cases (illness, holidays, unforeseen events), credits may be applied to your account case by case.


10. Region Changes & Pausing Leads

You may update your lead regions or pause lead flow once every 7 days.

Changes take up to 72 hours to take effect.

You are responsible for messaging updates via WhatsApp. Requests via phone/email may not stop lead flow immediately.

Leads received during this period remain your leads, and you will be charged as normal unless otherwise agreed.

11. Lead Volumes and Expectations

When signing up, you specify the number of leads you would like to receive per week.

We will make every reasonable effort to provide the exact number of leads requested.

Due to natural variations in lead availability, you may occasionally receive more or fewer leads than requested in a given week. Over a full month, lead volumes should approximate the requested total.

All leads delivered to you are your responsibility, regardless of whether they exceed or fall short of the requested weekly volume. You cannot dispute or reject leads on the basis that the quantity does not match your request.

This ensures you have access to all available opportunities, while allowing flexibility for natural fluctuations in lead supply.
